Legoland Discovery Centre

This weekend was all kinds of fun. Friday night Rick and myself went into York for cocktails and he finally got to meet my best friend - so happy and relieved that they got on so well. We spent Saturday recovering with endless amounts of pizza and US Office (my new addiction) so by Sunday we were ready for an adventure.

Rick wanted to take his son to Legoland as part of his birthday present and I have been wanting to go for so long so we decided to take a drive to the Trafford Centre and explore. After the drive we filled up on ice-cream and coffee and bought our tickets before being introduced to a crazy professor explaining how the Lego bricks are made.

The Star Wars exhibition was particularly awesome it wasn't hard to appreciate the incredible amount of detail. There were so many activities to entertain Luke in the main room too, it was great seeing him all hyped up wanting to try everything. Plenty of space to let out all of his energy and fun things for us to join in with too. We had a great day and it was nice to spend some time together and out of the house away from computers/ TV just enjoying each others company. I would recommend Legoland if anyone is looking for an indoor place to spend an afternoon, there is so much to look around and you can easily spend hours in there without realising.
Check out our souvenir Ninjago photo - cool I know!
